If you’ve always wanted to paint but didn’t know where to start, this class is for you. Beginning January 15th, I’ll be teaching a six-week introductory watercolor course designed specifically for people who are brand new to the medium (or returning to it after many years!).
Over six relaxed, hands-on sessions, we’ll learn foundational watercolor techniques that open the door to an entire world of creativity. You’ll follow along with step-by-step demos, try approachable skill-building exercises, and complete small projects each week — yes, artwork you’ll be proud to take home and show off.
What You’ll Learn
✔ How to set up a palette & choose materials
✔ Understanding watercolor paper (and why it matters!)
✔ Water control basics — wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, dry brush
✔ Simple brush techniques + how different brushes behave
✔ Layering, transparency & building color
✔ Weekly creative projects to build technique & confidence
You’ll leave class with a solid foundation in watercolor and the courage to keep painting at home.
