On Repeat – Original Mixed Media Music Art on Canvas, 20x20
Some songs are impossible to forget. The beat gets into your head, the melody takes over, and suddenly you're transported back to a moment in time.
On Repeat is part of my Music & Memories collection, inspired by the irresistible energy of 1980s dance music and the songs we played over and over because we simply couldn't get enough.
Swirling circles of pink, blue, purple, and gold suggest the spinning movement of a vinyl record, while bold, expressive lines and handwritten marks capture the rhythm and playful energy of the music itself.
There's something wonderfully nostalgic about remembering a song you couldn't stop playing. Maybe you danced to it with friends, heard it on the radio while driving, or wore out a cassette rewinding your favorite part.
This painting is a celebration of those moments—when music was loud, life felt full of possibility, and you never wanted the song to end.
