**Centerfield – Rock Music Inspired Wall Art Print** Every musician has a story about the night they felt like a rock star. *Centerfield* was inspired by my friend Gerry's memories of playing drums with his band, Centerfield, at the legendary 40 Watt Club in Athens, Georgia, during the 1980s. The 40 Watt was part of an extraordinary music scene that helped shape alternative rock, with bands like R.E.M., The B-52's, and Drivin N Cryin becoming part of its history. For Gerry and his bandmates, getting to play that stage was a moment worth remembering. Years later, Gerry shared the story with me, including how the band's name ended up spray-painted on the club's wall. I loved the image of a young drummer leaving his mark on a place where so much musical history was being made. That memory became the inspiration for this mixed-media painting. At the center, a glowing light bulb illuminates a small drum kit below, while expressive rays of white, blue, and gold explode across a deep purple and black background. Handwritten words and layered textures evoke the energy of a live performance, the excitement of being onstage, and the memories that stay with musicians long after the music stops. Part of my *Music & Memories* collection, *Centerfield* celebrates the local bands, legendary venues, and unforgettable nights that become part of our personal soundtracks. **Fine Art Print Details** This open-edition fine art print is reproduced from my original mixed-media painting, capturing its rich colors, expressive textures, and dramatic contrasts. Available in multiple square sizes, *Centerfield* makes a meaningful addition to a music room, recording studio, home office, or gallery wall—and a thoughtful gift for drummers, musicians, and live music lovers. *Art You Can Feel, Stories You Can Hang.* — DeElla Hoberg
